Bird Photography Weekly: Another Pochard
A few weeks ago, I posted a picture I'd taken last summer of a Rosybill Pochard. This week, I offer another waterfowl from across the pond, a cousin of the rosybill:

Lovely shots of Mr & Mrs Pochard, Kyle!
The colour of the bill is quite intense. It looks like its the colour of lipstick. And I always find it curious and interesting when birds have such red eyes. I makes me wonder how they see the world through such lenses.
I've never seen this duck before , What a very handsome male this is. Great photo.
